Alongside the TTV GUIDE TX project and with the expertise of the consortium, we have the chance to realize two side projects, for which we need further funding. Your contribution can help to improve medical care for kidney transplant patients. Those side-projects are already designed and the establishment of a bio-bank will facilitate further projects.

‘Medical Adherence’
​
Lack of medical adherence due to psychological and socioeconomic problems are the main reason for medical non-adherence. We aim to establish TTV for early detection of medical-non adherence to guide causal therapy.
Side project
‘Immunologic Monitoring’
​
Further detailed characterization of the immune system will help to optimize immunosuppressive drug dosing and early recognition of infections and kidney graft rejections.
